Sad times for my Boy

My close friends will know that life in the Garner household has been a bit stressful these past few months. My lovely son, who goes to Ovingdean Hall School for the Deaf in Brighton heard in February this year that his wonderful school is closing for good. Tomorrow is the final day and we're all so sad. The children are all going separate ways, their parents having had to fight to get them into other specialist schools. The staff and teachers all having received their redundancy notices at Easter have continued school life in the only way they know - outstanding!

My boy's teacher has worked at the school for 25 years and I'm proud to call her my friend. Here is the Thank You book I have made for her.

Hi June, I am so sorry to hear your bad news. Every cloud has a silver lining so chin up.
Your lovely book is fantastic and you must have spent ages on it. I bet your friend is proud of it. Take care, lots of love Jo.xxxx
