I just can't get enough of this tree!!

And once more for the gentleman at the back in the black cape and stockings... I NEVER make two cards the same, so I've challenged myself to make as many different types of cards with this oh so beautiful stamp...
I cut the aperture from dark green pearlescent card and filled the hole with acetate. The tree was stamped onto a piece of white card, which I folded in two, so there's somewhere to write. I used glitter and stickles and some lovely jewels and sequins I bought from CUL.

The Sign of a Good Crafter....

I spend loads of time browsing different Blogs and websites and there's always the picture of the craft room/area "after" the tidy up... so just to be different - here's mine "before"!!!!!!!!!

Another Balcombe Belles Great Day

I had another great day with the BB girls today - we do have a giggle! I felt really "in the mood" for crafting today and I just love the Christmas Tree designed by Jane Gill available from Woodware (don't you just lurve the brown one??), the poinsetta from Magenta and the guardian angel that I've been waiting for from Stampendous. I only picked up the guadian angel yesterday from CUL and I need to mull over ideas, but I hope you like what I've put together so far.

I stamped the guardian angel and coloured with gold sparkly paints (£2.99 The Works!) and then the same image on acetate so that they overlap. The burgundy poinsetta card was with the Bazzil polka dot/spotty/swiss dots (whatever its called!) card available from CUL and the layout of the base card from Kim Fee, however, the rest was moi! On the purple card I used my new scallop edge punch from Stampin Up!

Can anyone help? The poinsetta stamp has no manufacturer's name on it or any details at all - it's a beautiful stamp and we wondered where it came from. The stamp belonged originally to one of the BB girls - our lovely Maggie who was tragically taken from us earlier this year - we miss you Mags and we all know you're with us each Balcombe Belles!

I've had a lovely day today, lots of good laughs, lots of creativity and I'm back really enjoying my crafting - hope you enjoy it too. Thanks to everyone who leaves a comment, its great to see that you all enjoy them as much as I enjoy looking at your work.

One last question. I had to use black stazon to stamp the angel on acetate but not entirely happy with the finished result - can anyone suggest anything better? Thank youx

No time for Christmas...

Steve the decorator has been in again today - I have a white ceiling.... I have one wall papered.... I think I might just have to have a bedroom warming party - ooo er....

It's 'The Bro's' birthday tomorrow and he is, of course, a Blues supporter. I also had to make a shhh... Liverpool card for my hairdresser's husband, I used the WS waistcoat template. The Silver Wedding card is for my in-laws - George & Valerie - I love this card, clean and crisp and once again using the lovely tulle from CUL (can't get too much of it).

Staring at the bedroom ceiling.....

Finally, the decorators have moved in to sort out the huge hole in my bedroom ceiling! Last week the ceiling was fixed and replastered and now Steve the decorator has arrived to paint and decorate - hallelujah! I'd got so used to the gaping great hole that my room seems too quiet now!

So today, I'm off and plan to do some crafting - I've made a few cards lately. Birthdays mainly including one for my lovely brother. All my Christmas crafting stuff is out and all shiny and waiting to be used - I've only got about 100 cards to make.... and for those of you that know me - I never make two the same!

I'm off to my mate SarahK's on Wednesday evening and it's Balcombe Belles this Saturday so I'm gonna be busy. Lots of photos to come shortly but just thought I'd say hi! Have a good week everyonex
